Thanks for your patience as I work on making schedules and resources to help you figure out everything you received on Tuesday.
My role at this point is to help you modify activities, find supports to use, or send you other resources electronically that are a better fit for your child. I am available for emails or video conferencing via Google Hangout. If something is not working, PLEASE reach out.
If it is too easy: Check the independence level. Are they doing it themselves or are you prompting? Is all the work done correctly?

Here are some additional notes on each of the resources I gave you:
-black and white reading books: There are two books to read each week. Students will read the book one day, write about it the next. On Friday they can reread both books. We do not usually have Language Arts on Friday due to computer Lab and Library so rereading both books will be new to them.
-a composition notebook: This is for writing in. Students can write the title on the top line and the date. We have been practicing skipping lines as we read so if you could reinforce that, I would appreciate it ☺
-sound cards-students can practice saying letter names and/or sounds. See how quickly they can do this.
-sight word cards (some kits also include magnet letters): You can work on reading AND writing these words every day. Practice saying them in sentences. Practice writing them in different ways (make letters out of Legos or playdough, write it using shaving cream on a table, write it in different marker colors, write it as big as you can and as small as you can, write it as fast as you can, etc, etc.)
-2 packets-one for language arts and one for math: do 1-2 pages of this work every day. Try to keep your child as independent on this as possible if you find they are moving through them too quickly.
-Scholastic readers-these are science and social studies articles. You can have them read it but you may want to read them aloud.
-SeeSaw sign in sheet-the one I send in the envelope is unfortunately for just VIEWING their work, BUT the parent matrix has a TEXT CODE so that they can do work on SeeSaw at home ☺
-Steps to Advance: This is a workbook with text and correlated activities that we usually work in 4x a week
-Word Wall-use this to help with writing “Oh, you don’t know how to write that word? Let’s find it here!”
- a student schedule with visuals they are familiar with
-a parent matrix with more details on each task THIS HAS THEIR SEESAW CODE ON IT
-Student email: initials with a student ID number, their password is their birthday year first, then month then day YYYYMMDD@smfcsd.me
