Transitional Kindergarten (TK)

Dear TK Families,
Thank you for your patience and flexibility during this difficult time. At George Hall, and within our District, we are working diligently to provide our students with meaningful Distance Learning packets. In our TK packet you will find, an outline for the day-to-day work, a stack of paper (to be used during the writing/drawing prompts), various worksheets and art activities. To ensure all students have access to supplies, I have also included a glue stick, a pair of scissors, two golf-sized pencils, a box of crayons, and two paper fasteners (for art projects). Please do your best to help your child keep track of these items. To keep our classroom running throughout the end of the year, we will need these items returned. To keep our funding and account for attendance during this time, we will also need to collect the work students complete. Please be sure to put all finished work back in the envelope and the supplies, to return them when school resumes. Thank you for your help and diligence to keep this a productive time, as well as a safe time for all our students and staff.
I will be emailing regularly to check in with families as well as to share out some read-alouds your students can watch on your computer/smart phone at home. Our goal is to touch-base with each student/students family twice a week; this will be done via email. Please check your email daily. I will do my best to keep emailing “short and sweet”, to not overload your inbox.
